made it back after a really long and strange and wonderful trip filled with music and friends and hiking and too much time to think through things but maybe not enough time to think through things
speaking of that, i’m thinking about buying a house here in philly! which is pretty strange but ultimately an interesting and nice thing. taking me away from music a bit at the moment.
i did write 3 more songs for the album though. tentatively titled “stray”, “truck nuts & vanity plates” and “focus.”
my friends shawnee & daisy are coming here next monday too to play songs by the pool.
goal is that by the end of october i’ll have the record done and then it’ll be released as a good autumn breakup record
until then i’m going to listen to a lot of soft rock
life is pretty good
